New Version Of EchoPoint Trading Software Is Released
 |
Echotrade
has
released the latest version of its trading software, EchoPoint 2003, which
focuses on identifying high-probability scalping opportunities throughout
the trading day. EchoPoint was updated to support the Echo Trading Methodology,
a trading philosophy developed through the seven years of trading experiences
of Echotrade's partners. Previously, EchoPoint concentrated on short-term
position trades, but the new version of the software provides technical
points on NYSE-listed stocks with a price over $30 and a daily average
volume of two million shares. New features include analysis of more than
100 charts each evening, displays of the prior day's highs and lows,
and pivot points of the current Standard & Poor's 500 futures
contract, real-time monitoring of the distance between EchoPoint stocks
and futures points and their current price, with alerts and ranking of
those stocks that are approaching the defined trade setups, and more.

Trader's Edge Offers Premium Selling Program
|
Trader's
Edge is offering its Options Premium Selling Program, designed to capitalize
on the high probability that a certain category of out-of-the-money options
will eventually expire worthless.
Selling these specific options could gain an advantage for the trader,
the company said. The advantage of selling options is that the investor
has the ability to profit from time decay. As expiration gets closer, the
value of an out-of-the-money option tends to diminish when volatility remains
constant and the underlying market does not move adversely. If the option
expires out-of-the-money, it is worthless, and the seller keeps the premium.
Selling out-of-the-money options allows the investor to profit from
sideways markets, trending markets, and occasionally, even when the underlying
market moves against the seller's position.
