eSignal Launches Real-Time Market Data

eSignal
announced its new QuoTrek wireless quote and market information service
with data from more than 75 global exchanges, charting, and news for mobile
devices such as BlackBerry, Palm, and Pocket PC.
QuoTrek allows users to leave their computers at home or the office
and access their portfolios on their handhelds. The original QuoTrek was
a handheld, wireless device delivering real-time market data, but the convergence
of cell phone/PDA technologies and the increased bandwidth available has
allowed eSignal to introduce the new QuoTrek, which is available for $49.95
a month for new clients and $25 a month for existing eSignal, eSignal Pro,
and MarketCenter customers.

TradeStation To Host Conference And Expo

TradeStationWorld Conference and Expo, previously known as OmegaWorld, will be held on October 21-24, 2004, at Venetian Hotel Resort Casino in Las Vegas. The
conference focuses on the newest technologies in the design, testing, optimization,
and automation of trading strategies, and will feature keynote presentations
by Linda Bradford Raschke, Nelson Freeburg, Jack Schwager, and David Stendahl.
In other news, TradeStation Securities announced it had purchased a
seat on the Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE). Its membership will
allow TradeStation to directly trade options on the exchange. CBOE is one
of six major options exchanges in the US.

CBOE Futures Exchange Begins Trading March 26

Pending
final regulatory approval, the CBOE Futures Exchange (CFE) will
begin trading on March 26, 2004, the Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE)
announced. The first product to be traded on CFE will be futures on the
CBOE Volatility Index (VIX).
The CFE, which is a subsidiary of the CBOE, will operate as an electronic
exchange using CBOEdirect as the trading platform. CFE's market structure
will be an open access model. The Options Clearing Corporation (OCC) will
clear all CFE trades.

Automation Platform Combines TradeStation With Fix-Protocol

with Fix-protocol. TradeStation's order mechanism is bypassed and replaced
with a proprietary Fix interface. The result is an automation platform
that combines the analytical capabilities of TradeStation with the speed

The platform accepts user strategies and trades through any Fix-compliant
brokerage/firm/entity and works with TradeStation 2000i or TradeStation

contracts side by side, the London International Financial Futures and
Options Exchange (LIFFE) announced it would offer three-month eurodollar
futures and options contracts as of March 18, 2004. LIFFE Connect will
be the electronic platform. LIFFE recognizes that US customers may wish
to trade eurodollar contracts on a wholly electronic US exchange, using
LIFFE Connect, gaining benefits that include clearing in the US.

to FFG's software product line are three new daytrade position size calculators

CMC Group Partners With Canadian Bond Brokerage For FX Trading
