What’s Ahead For Mobile Trading?

by Bulat Latipov

How will current highlights develop into later ones?

It all began with manual trading, when you had to send a request to a broker or be present at the exchange every time you needed to place an order. With the later development of information technologies, users adapted to the possibilities of Internet trading. The transparency of processes, minimum cost of transactions, trading right from a desktop computer, and access to various analytical tools — all these advantages made online trading a new standard for modern traders.

Mobility of trading platforms
The next step defined the mobility of trading platforms. It was marked by the emergence of the mobile versions of popular client terminals, providing traders with the possibility to connect to a trading account from anywhere in the world. However, the main disadvantage of such mobile terminals was reduced functionality, which was not enough for full-fledged trading. In fact, they allowed checking the status of your account but lacked some important features.

The next step in trading development introduced mobile terminals that offered the same set of functions as the desktop version. Mobile devices have become more powerful, offering more functions than before. With touchscreen, multitouch, support for wireless technologies, high usability, and intuitive mobile applications, the possibilities of mobile devices are now very close to those of desktop computers. And this is just the beginning!
