CQG EXPANDS CONNECTIVITY TO RUSSIAN MARKETS, MORE

Cqg has enhanced its Russian offering to include spreading of Forts, the futures and option component of the Russian Trading System Stock Exchange (Rts), and low-latency trade routing to Rts Standard, the equity market for Russian securities. Spread traders can create, trade, and manage both inter- and intraexchange spread strategies for Forts products via the server-side Cqg Spreader. Cqg’s hosted trading gateway provides traders with fast and highly cost-effective access to Rts Standard. Cqg customers can route orders to the exchange using the Cqg Integrated Client and Cqg Trader platforms.

In other news, Cqg announced that it had signed a software licensing agreement with Uob Bullion and Futures to provide their customers access to Cqg’s trading front-ends. Uob is a leading bank in the Asia-Pacific region can now trade bullion, foreign currency, and other financial instruments in a range of markets. The partnership allows Uob to offer buy-side firms and other high-volume traders consolidated market data and advanced electronic trading via the Cqg Trader and Cqg Integrated Client platforms.

Market Technologies has released VantagePoint 8.3, which offers trend-forecasting performance with several improvements and new capabilities. Among other features, the software offers newly updated and retrained neural networks. It now predicts the market trend direction for more than a dozen of the most popular short and ultra short exchange traded funds (Etfs) and now offers the Predicted Bar, a chart addition that displays a visual representation of the predicted high and predicted low for the next trading day. For those who trade Indian markets, version 8.3 now predicts the market trend direction for more than 600 Indian stocks traded on the National Stock Exchange of India.
