CQG Connects Traders To Forex ECN

   CQG has expanded its direct trading to enable clients to trade foreign exchange through the FXall forex platform. Traders can now use CQG's Integrated Client to trade currencies via Accelor, FXall's anonymous forex electronic communications network (ECN).

Robotic Stock Trading System Is Launched

   CoolTrade announced that it had released the latest version of its Robotic Stock Trading System. CoolTrade's all-in-one system includes charting, stock scanning and filtering, an easy-to-use point & click strategy builder, a real-time testing environment, historical backtester, and more. FXstreet Offers Educational DVDs

  FXstreet.com said it had released an educational DVD set on foreign exchange with Rob Booker and Dave Murphy, the first in a series. In this two-DVD set, traders are guided through powerful and easy-to-use trading techniques. Viewers will learn to set up trades on any currency pair on any time frame chart.    TMXmoney has launched a financial portal for North American investors and provides new features, market information, and investment tools. The new website contains timely, relevant, and accurate information about detailed quotes and company information for North American stock markets including searchable price history, annual and quarterly financials, and news. PowerShares Introduces Exchange Traded Fund Based On New Index

   The NASDAQ OMX Group has introduced the NASDAQ OMX Ireland Index. The new global benchmark will be a modified market-capitalization weighted index made up of the largest and most liquid Irish companies listed on an index-eligible global exchange. The OMX Ireland Index will be disseminated in dollars, with a value of 250.00.

Reuters Website Updated With New Brand

   Reuters Group has announced its merger with The Thomson Corp., forming Thomson Reuters. Reuters.com and its online properties will continue to use the "Reuters" name, but the branding will incorporate the look and feel of the overall Thomson Reuters organization. On August 15, the reuters.com website was updated with the new brand.

Conference In Barcelona On October 29-31, 2008

   FXstreet.com presents its second conference, the International Traders Conference (ITC), which will be held on October 29-31, 2008, in Barcelona, Spain.
